Today, we were tasked with creating a basic brick texture using substance designer.
Having watched Pat's tutorial during the lesson, I picked on a few things.
I found that reusing the same texture but inverting the greyscale helps to create some unique detail or colour, acting almost like a photoshop clipping mask.
Overall I think that as a first attempt at making bricks, it came out quite nicely, although, I could have added slightly more colour and roughness variation.
